| The cruises that "Elisabet Cruises" can
provide are fortunate to pass through some of the most beautiful
regions of this part of Central Greece. From the northern region
of the island of Evia, to the coastal area of the majestic Pelion
Peninsula, followed by the unique islands of Skiathos, Skopelos
and Alonissos that form the Sporades Islands. |
Departing from our home town of Amaliapolis, which
is situated in the south of Pelion, approximately 54km from the
city of Volos.
From here, our cruises head upwards towards the coastline of the
Pelion peninsula, sailing through the waters of the Pagasitic Gulf
and passing by some of the most beautiful coastal resorts such as
Milina, Kala Nera, Afissos and many others.
Departing from the harbour of Amaliapolis, we can also head southwards,
passing by the port of Pigadi, before heading on towards the northern
part of the island of Evia. This part of Evia is an extremely beautiful
place, with some very picturesque and impressive scenery and landscapes.
|
|
From both the northern regions of Evia, as well as
the region of Trikeri at the end of the western tip of the Pelion
peninsula, we can then head onwards towards the magical islands
of the Sporades.
These islands are some of the most beautiful in Greece, and their
luscious and rich vegetation provide the islands with their green
appearance. Each of the these islands is simply stunning, and they
are always a very popular holiday destination with visitors from
all over the world. |
The first of the islands we reach is Skiathos. Here
we stop in the main port of Skiathos town, where you can take a
short walk and wander around the colourful and picturesque port.
Upon departing Skiathos, we then reach the island of Skopelos. Here,
we arrive at the port of Glossa, located on the northwest of the
island. |
|
Glossa is the second largest town on Skopelos, and
provides some beautiful views out towards the blue waters of the
Aegean Sea. From Glossa, we continue our journey and reach the island
of Alonissos.
Our cruises around the Sporades and the waters of the Pagasitic
Gulf are very popular, and we have had passengers from all corners
of the world who have come to join us on a fun-filled and unique
cruise. We sincerely hope that when you are next in the region,
you too will be able to join us, and experience just why "Elisabet
Cruises" are that much different from other cruises you may
have taken in the past. |
